THE 5th Annual Semler Lecture on Leadership
The Semler Lecture on Leadership honors the work and spirit of Jerry Semler who is widely recognized throughout the Indianapolis community as a giver and doer.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATION
On April 22, 2011 The Jukes Foundation for Kids hosted a The Championship Celebration to celebrate the once again remarkable season of the Butler Bulldogs and their graduating seniors. Thank you all for coming out and your continued support.

GORDON HAYWARD APPEARANCE
On February 24, 2011 The Jukes Foundation for Kids hosted a Gordon Hayward autograph signing event at the Hinkle field house on the Butler University Campus. The event was a huge success and attracted hundred of people. Gordon felt right at home and couldn't be happier. All proceeds from the even went to foundation so we can continue our cause. On behalf of the Jukes Foundation For Kids and Gordon Hayward we would like to thank you all for your continued support.

2010
CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN FUNDRAISER
The Champions For Children Scholarship Gala was held on April 24th at the NCAA Hall of Champions and was a huge success. With the help of the 2010 Butler basketball team, the Butler Athletic Department, NCSS, local Indianapolis Community, and nationwide support of JFK, we were able to raise over $25,000 that will defray some of the educational costs for the Children of Uganda.  The Foundation will be granting 7 boarding school scholarships in January 2011, in addition to providing adequate test preparation materials to the schools of Building Tomorrow.  Jukes Foundation fo Kids would like to give a special thank you to all who contributed to this year's scholarship Gala.  Your presence and help made all the difference!

2009
BOOK DRIVE
On January 24, 2009 Jukes Foundation for Kids hosted the "Bookin' With the Bulldogs" book drive which turned out to be a huge success. In collaboration with the Butler University sports marketing group, we managed to collect over 2000 books. The books were delivered in person by our very own Avery Jukes in Summer 2009 and now reside in the Building Tomorrow Academy of Kiyamba.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Between the dates of November 23rd and December 11th the Jukes Foundation for Kids partnered with the North Central High School Key Club to collect non-perishable food to give to needy families in Indianapolis. This is an annual event done by the NCHS Key Club, but this year JFK wanted to help improve the drive and the amount of food and money collected. The drive had been set up as a contest. The three classrooms that collected the most items and/or money will won a special breakfast.

Toy Drive
On December 5, 2009 Jukes Foundation for Kids partnered with Butler University, Pepsi, and WishTv for a holiday toy drive. People donated new, unwrapped toys to the Butler Men's basketball team and as a token of our appreciation received a limited edition NIKE t-shirt (provided by Pepsi).
